International Student

Upon completion of the online application, please submit the following documents:

2. Applicants may fax or e-mail his/her academic qualifications College Sunrise for initial application.
3. Once College Sunrise receives the fax or email, a reply could be provided within 24-hours via fax or email. If the initial application is accepted, the applicant is required to submit the formal application to College Sunrise that includes:


1. 3 copies of recent passport-size color photographs.
2. Copies of the secondary school results (i.e. certificates / qualifications / academic transcript). In addition to the actual transcript, please provide the translation in English if it is in other languages.
3. 3 sets of photocopied passport (Identification page). Please ensure at least one-year validity of your passport (if applicable).

5. International Student Charge for Asean is 400 USD and Middle East is 450 USD (in bank draft or international money order, etc) payable to "SUNRISE TRAINING AND RETRAINING CENTRE (SABAH) SDN BHD". This charge is a onetime payment only.



Note: Payment of tuition fees will be notified by College Sunrise to the applicant before the commencement.

Please courier all the above-mentioned documents College Sunrise at least 8 weeks before the commencement of the programme (Note: Our available yearly intakes are in January, May, and October).

4. Upon the receipt of these documents, College Sunrise would release an Offer Letter to the applicant as soon as possible either through fax or courier service. At this time, the applicant is recognized as our student.
5. College Sunrise will be responsible to submit the relevant documents to the Malaysian Immigration Department for Student Visa application. This application will normally take about 4-6 weeks to process. The student need not do anything before the Student Visa application is approved.
6. Once the Student Visa is approved by the Malaysian Immigration Department, College Sunrise shall fax as well as courier the Student Visa Approval Letter to the student together with the Hostel Reservation Form.
7. The student shall then proceed to the nearest Malaysian Embassy to obtain a Single Entry Visa (applicable to certain countries only) and shall arrange for his/her air ticket to Malaysia.
8. For any student who wishes to stay in our hostel, he/she needs to submit the Hostel Application Form to the College, together with RM300 as a hostel deposit to the College Sunrise as soon as possible.
9. If a student requires our airport pickup service, please inform College Sunrise at least 5 working days in advance by email or telephone.
10. Once the students arrive and start classes at College Sunrise, the student needs to hand in his/her passport to College Sunrise so the college may pass the student's passport to the Immigration Office for endorsing the Student Pass in the passport. This process takes about 4-6 weeks.
