DEPARTMENT OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (DSD)


The Department of Skills Development (DSD) is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia for co-ordination and control of skills training in Malaysia for both local and international students. It researches and develops standards to evaluate job expertise and competencies. Click Here

College Sunrise uses the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) developed by DSD which are relevant to the needs of industry.

School leavers learning approval

- which is regulated under Department of Skill Development - Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia. This approval allows school leavers can pursue their TVET Training Full time in College Sunrise. Accreditation IE , Accreditation ISA , Accreditation IT

Working adults learning approval (Approval Letter)

- is also regulated under Department of Skill Development - Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia. This approval allows working adults from industries, entrepreneurs and those who are interested to upgrade their skill in TVET knowledge at part time basis which is on evening and weekend classes for Diploma level. International Accreditation Centre (Approval Letter)

- regulated under Department of Skill Development - Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia. This approval allows international students to develop their abilities through this programme in Malaysia and will will provide an opportunity for international students to equip themselves with valuable skills that can enhance their employability.

Skills Development Fund Corporation (SDFC)


The Skills Development Fund Corporation (SDFC) is established to govern the Skills Development Fund which was previously managed by the Skills Development Fund Section under the Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia. The corporation provides educational loan with monthly allowance to students studying at DSD accredited Centres for both school leavers and working adults.
